A typical scene from Little Mermaid: HIdden Treasures. These 3 images show steps of development progress from raw render to background paint to final objects and fx. These scenes parallaxed in 5 or 6 layers, hencec the extra width. The actual viewing dimensions were 1920x1080 and designed for play on the Microsoft Surface Tablet primarily. The scenes had a mixture of hidden objects and inventory objects and special animated objects or characters as well as visual fx such as caustics and bubbles and swaying plants. Not all of the objects or fx would be seen at the same time during play. Space for the UI bar at the bottom is blocked out in Step 3.
