RECENT WORK
I've updated the slideshow below to include some work of mine from 2014. For Book of Heroes by Venan I created a fantasy weapon set modeled in 3D and touched up in 2D. I created the background and hidden objects for a bunch of Seaside Hideaway scenes, a game published by HitPoint. There are also some environment parallax panoramas I worked on for a Little Mermaid game and a Disney Fairies game, both published by Microsoft.
TECHNIQUE
WEAPON SET: I modeled the weapons in 3DMax and painted over in Photoshop CS6. They are intended to be shown with a static 2D paperdoll in game.
SEASIDE: These scenes are a combination of intense photo collage and paintover. Each scene has 75 hidden objects in separate layers above the background. Some items are masked.
DISNEY PANORAMAS: I used Photoshop CS6 to paint over 3D renders based on a greyscale pencil concept. These images have 5 or 6 parallaxing layers that slide at different rates creating a greater sense of immersion in game. Not shown are the animated characters and dynamic fx.
